Snobbin: Beautiful Trash in the Pop Culture Gutter

Dario Argento's cut of the classic zombie film feels more action packed and propulsive because of pacing. However, sometimes the music is too loud, obscuring dialogue, even thought it makes the zombie attacks appear more menacing. An interesting take on one of the best. 

Early Morning coffee in the kitchen. Jim is making eggs.  I hear a clutch of conversation when I wake up. Peter, Donny, Josh, Matt, Joe. I let the discussions hang. I get up to take my morning walk, skirting other hungover zombies.

The soundtrack, which includes The Fleshtones and a humorous Ray Dennis Steckler vibe, is the high point in this third-rate zombie flick in which radioactive weed turns teenagers into low budget zombies.
